Seminar on light pollution was organised by Center for Tourism Development and Cooperation in Montenegro
On March 19, 2026, in Žabljak, Montenegro, the Center for Tourism Development and Cooperation organized a seminar dedicated to light pollution and its impact on the environment and human health was successfully held.
Participants had the opportunity to learn more about:
- types and causes of light pollution
- the impact of artificial lighting on humans and wildlife
- proper use of lighting in line with EU regulations
- the potential for developing astro-tourism in Montenegro
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of preserving dark skies as a valuable natural resource and their role in sustainable tourism development.
